Clutter Counselor Provides Tips to Start New Year with a Clean Slate
MILWAUKEE, WIS. – With Christmas and New Year’s fast approaching, stress levels can cause what should be a happy time to be less than enjoyable.
One way to take stress out of daily life is to reduce clutter in the home and mind. DeAnna Radaj, owner of Milwaukee-based Bante Design, LLC and a nationally recognized speaker on healthy home design, color therapy/theory, and the psychology of clutter for adults and children, has launched The Clutter Counselor (www.thecluttercounselor.com) to assist people put more order in their lives and homes.
The Clutter Counselor philosophy is that “clutter is the physical manifestation of emotional baggage.” Known for creating spaces that are not only beautiful and comfortable, but also bring out an individual’s personality, Radaj offers tips to help people “take control of their stuff, instead of their stuff taking control of them.”
“Now is the perfect time to deal with all your ‘stuff,’” Radaj said. “Your ‘stuff’ says a lot about you and where you are in your life. As you put up holiday decorations and prepare for family gatherings, do a ‘declutter’ and only pack up what you want to take into the New Year.”
The Clutter Counselor website features tips, suggestions, videos, and testimonials on the affects of clutter and how removing clutter can enhance everyday living.
Radaj says there are many benefits to using this time of year to declutter, including...
• Get a tax deduction for the donation of items
• Less to pack up after the holidays
• Go into the New Year only with items you want
• Make room for gifts that will be received
Another area of clutter that Radaj addresses is how perceived financial issues could create clutter in the mind. “Money clutter manifests in a variety of ways, including not knowing bank balances, constant overdraft fees, no savings account, and not knowing why you’re saving money,” Radaj said.
The Clutter Counselor program allows individuals to determine the story behind their current relationship with money and how to comfortably charge more for products and services, plus find out what it costs for not charging properly.
For a limited time, The Clutter Counselor is offering special holiday pricing of $75 on 30-minute “Clutter Coaching” phone consultations. Call 414-403-8174 for more information or to arrange an appointment.
